White Fence is a predominantly Mexican American street gang based in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of East Los Angeles. It claims origins as early as 1900 but emerged in the 1910s as a sports team associated with La Purissima Church. One of the oldest gangs in Los Angeles, it is known for its long-standing rivalry with El Hoyo Maravilla and its early use of firearms. The gang remains active and has expanded its territory to multiple U.S. cities and Central America.
