Chicano criminal street gang founded in the 1940s in the Estrada Courts housing projects of Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. One of the most prominent Hispanic gangs in east Los Angeles, involved in murder, drug trafficking, and other crimes. Operates under the Sureño banner in prison and has ties to the Mexican Mafia. Still active despite a 2004 gang injunction.
