Death squad based in El Salvador, composed mainly of police and military personnel acting as vigilantes targeting criminals and gang members. Active since around 1994, it was dismantled in 1996 but resurfaced in 2014. Known for targeting Mara Salvatrucha and Mara 18, and for executing victims with gunshots to the back of the head.
