The Shapiro Brothers were a group of Jewish-American mobsters from New York City, based in Williamsburg, who led a faction in the garment industry. They were involved in a violent conflict with Jacob 'Gurrah' Shapiro and Louis 'Lepke' Buchalter in 1931. Irving and Meyer were killed by the Amberg brothers in 1931, and Willie was killed by Murder, Inc. in 1934. Their murders were later used to convict Buchalter and others.
