A late 19th-century secret organization in Manatee County, Florida, founded in 1884 by Alfred Bidwell, Leonard Andrews, and Jason Alford. Composed of former Confederate soldiers, it engaged in murder of political opponents, blackmail, and political intimidation. The group was responsible for the murders of Charles E. Abbe and Harrison T. Riley, leading to trials and convictions of its members. It was active from 1884 to 1892.
