It is Latin America's biggest drug gang with 40,000 lifetime members and 60,000 contractors as of 2023. The group is based in São Paulo and operates throughout Brazil, South America, West Africa, and Europe, with a focus on cocaine trafficking. It has partnered with the Italian 'Ndrangheta and controls over 50% of Brazil's drug exports to Europe.
