Also known as: ACCU, Autodefensas Campesinas de Córdoba y Urabá

Colombian paramilitary group formed in northwestern Colombia, operating mainly in Antioquia and Córdoba departments. Founded by the Castaño brothers to retaliate against FARC-EP for their father's assassination. Initially protected farmers' interests and drug crops, later became a core component of the United Self-Defenders of Colombia (AUC).
