The Oaxaca Cartel was a smaller Mexican drug cartel that operated in southern Mexico, primarily in Oaxaca and Chiapas. It focused on marijuana and cocaine trafficking and was allied with the Tijuana Cartel. Founded by Pedro Díaz Parada Cruz in the 1970s, the cartel was led by the Díaz-Parada brothers. It was active from 1980 to 2011.
