Multi-ethnic criminal organization in Chicago during Prohibition, founded in 1919 by Dean O'Banion and Hymie Weiss. It controlled bootlegging, gambling, and robbery on Chicago's North Side, and was the principal rival of Al Capone's Chicago Outfit. The gang was active from 1919 to 1935.
