Founded in 1993 at Rikers Island, New York by Omar Portee and Leonard McKenzie, the gang is involved in drug trafficking, sex trafficking, robbery, extortion, and counterfeiting. They have been investigated by the FBI, DEA, and ATF, and have faced multiple prosecutions including Operation Nine Connect in 2006.
