Irish republican paramilitary group formed in 2012 from a merger of the Real IRA, Republican Action Against Drugs (RAAD), and other small militant groups. It is the largest dissident republican group, active mainly in Northern Ireland, and has launched attacks against the PSNI and British Army. The group continues the campaign of the original IRA.
