A 'ndrina (mafia clan) of the 'Ndrangheta based in Cosenza, Calabria, Italy. It was formed after the death of Luigi Palermo in 1977 and split into two factions, leading to a long feud with the Perna clan. The clan was involved in drug trafficking, arms possession, and international criminal activities, including a bid for the construction of Bucharest airport in Romania. In 1995, boss Franco Pino became a pentito (collaborator), leading to arrests. As of the 2000s, the clan has merged with the Perna group.
