'Ndrina Costa

The Costa are a 'ndrina (organized crime clan) of the 'Ndrangheta based in Siderno, Italy. Initially allied with the Commisso clan, they later became rivals. They were involved in drug trafficking in Turin, Gorizia, and Modena. A war with the Commisso clan in the late 1980s and early 1990s led to the deaths of several Costa members. The clan is now largely defunct, with surviving members imprisoned or cooperating with authorities.
