Mexican criminal organization based in San Luis Potosí and Zacatecas, founded in 2012 by Iván Velázquez Caballero (alias El Talibán or El Z-50). Originally a splinter group from Los Zetas, it allied with the Gulf Cartel and later with the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and Sinaloa Cartel. Engaged in drug trafficking, particularly fentanyl, and migrant smuggling. Known for violent confrontations with Los Zetas and contributing to increased violence in Zacatecas.
