La Línea is the main faction of the Juárez Cartel, originally formed as an execution unit composed of former police and military personnel trained in urban combat. Based in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, it was founded in 2008 by Juan Pablo Ledezma. The group is involved in drug trafficking, extortion, and kidnappings, and has been linked to several high-profile massacres. It has formed alliances with Barrio Azteca and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) to fight against the Sinaloa Cartel.
