It operates primarily in Acapulco and surrounding states, engaging in drug trafficking, money laundering, extortion, and murder. The group is known for its rivalry with the Independent Cartel of Acapulco and links to the Sinaloa Cartel. Its leader, Hernán Bermúdez Requena, was captured in Paraguay in 2025.
