Yakuza criminal organization based on Okinawa island, Japan, with an estimated membership of 210–270. Formed in 1970 as the Okinawa-rengo Kyokuryu-kai by the Naha Clan and Koza Clan. Engaged in a brutal conflict with the Yamaguchi-gumi from 1973 to 1981. Registered as a designated yakuza group under the Organized Crime Countermeasures Law in 1992.
