The Kudo-kai is a yakuza group headquartered in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan, founded before WWII as a bakuto organization by Genji Kudo. It is the largest yakuza group in the Kitakyushu area, known for its extremely militant stance and use of machine guns and hand grenades. The group is a member of the anti-Yamaguchi federation Yonsha-kai and has been designated as a particularly nefarious group by the National Police Agency. In 2021, its boss Satoru Nomura became the first designated yakuza boss sentenced to death.
