The Kokusui-kai is a Tokyo-based yakuza organization founded in 1958 by Masaji Morita. It has an estimated 1000 members and is known for controlling Tokyo's fashionable Ginza district. Despite its relatively low membership, it is considered wealthy and successful. It was originally a member of the Kantō Hatsukakai but became an affiliate of the Yamaguchi-gumi in 2005.
