The Inagawa-kai is the third largest yakuza group in Japan, based in the Kantō region. Founded in 1949 by Kakuji Inagawa in Atami, Shizuoka, it originated from traditional gamblers and engages in illegal gambling, drug trafficking, extortion, and prostitution. It was one of the first yakuza organizations to operate overseas and has provided disaster relief. As of 2025, it is led by Kazuya Uchibori.
