The Ichiwa-kai was a yakuza gang based in Osaka, Japan, formed on June 13, 1984 by Hiroshi Yamamoto after a split from the Yamaguchi-gumi. It had over 10,000 members and engaged in a violent war with the Yamaguchi-gumi following the assassination of its boss. The organization dissolved in March 1989.
