The Honda-kai were a Japanese yakuza gang active in Kobe in the mid-20th century. They were a bakuto gang primarily involved in illegal gambling. After World War II, they allied with the Yamaguchi-gumi but were soon absorbed and ceased to be independent. An American Yamaguchi-gumi syndicate may have reused the name in the mid-2000s.
