The Hogan Gang was a St. Louis-based criminal organization active during Prohibition, involved in bootlegging, labor slugging, voter intimidation, armed robbery, and murder. Founded around 1917 by Edward 'Jelly Roll' Hogan, the gang was predominantly Irish-American but included Italian and Jewish members. They fought a violent gang war with Egan's Rats in the early 1920s and were active from the 1920s to the 1930s.
