A Penang-based Chinese secret society established around 1820, originating from Southern China. It was involved in bribery, conspiracy, extortion, and mercenary activities, and played a prominent role in the Larut Wars of 1862–1873. The society was predominantly Hakka and rivaled the Ghee Hin Society. It was dissolved around 1890.
