The Five Points Gang was a criminal street gang based in the Five Points of Lower Manhattan, New York City, active from the 1890s to the 1920s. Founded by Paul Kelly (born Paolo Antonio Vaccarelli), it initially had Irish-American origins but later included many Italian-American members. The gang engaged in racketeering, extortion, drug trafficking, and other crimes. Notable members included Al Capone, Johnny Torrio, and Lucky Luciano.
