The Elephant and Castle Mob was a London street gang active during the interwar years, primarily involved in racecourse bookmaking, extortion, and other criminal activities. Based in the Elephant and Castle area, they were led by the McDonald brothers and allied with the Birmingham Boys. They rivaled the Sabini gang for control of bookmaking pitches and were eventually forced out by Sabini with Sicilian mafiosi, disappearing by the end of World War II.
