American organized crime gang based in St. Louis, Missouri, active from 1890 to 1924. Founded by Thomas 'Snake' Kinney and Thomas Egan, it engaged in bootlegging, labor slugging, voter intimidation, armed robbery, and murder. The gang was predominantly Irish-American and became the dominant criminal organization in St. Louis before being dismantled after a mail robbery conviction.
