Mexican criminal federation dedicated to drug trafficking, extortion, money laundering, and other crimes. Originally formed as Gente Nueva, an elite armed wing of the Sinaloa Cartel created to combat the Juárez Cartel in northwestern Mexico. In 2023, it split from the Sinaloa Cartel due to internal disputes with Los Chapitos and became independent. Based in Sonora, it operates in Chihuahua, Sonora, and Sinaloa.
