Born to Kill was a New York City-based street gang composed of first-generation Vietnamese immigrants, active in the 1980s and early 1990s. Founded by Tho Hoang "David" Thai in 1988, the gang engaged in drug trafficking, counterfeiting, contract killing, extortion, and other crimes. Its peak membership in New York ranged from 75 to 100. The gang was largely dismantled by 1992 following arrests and prosecutions.
