Ah Kong was a Singapore-originated organized crime and drug syndicate that controlled the European heroin trade from the 1970s to the 1990s. Based in Amsterdam and Bangkok, it was one of the world's largest drug syndicates, sourcing heroin from the Golden Triangle. The gang was founded by Singaporean Chinese members who fled to the Netherlands after a gang clash. It declined after its boss was assassinated in 1997 and the last official boss died in 2010.
